Four Reasons Why You Cannot Afford To Miss Your Vacation This Year
We all work extremely hard every day on our careers, in our jobs or raising our family. But here are a number of reasons to consider a vacation adventure, whether we think it's affordable or not.
1. Change of environment. Nothing can provide stimulation like a simple change of environment. Don't believe me, take your kids somewhere new when they are whining or acting out. Or, when you are feeling down, vacation travel go out and watch people at the mall. New places give you something new to think about so you don't get stuck in the "rat race."
2. Relaxation has proven to be an essential part of our health walk. It's just simply nice to have a break and your body will feel better as a result of it. After all, if you are playing at the beach, it will be much easier vacation travel to avoid vacation travel worrying about project deadlines at the office. When you are relaxed, you have time to dream new dreams or reinvent the forgotten ones that were tossed aside by daily obligations.
3. Problem Resolution. Often we tend to think of our problems (in money, health, business, career, family relationships) as they "ought" to be, not as they are in reality.
With this thinking, we shut down our brain's creative way of finding solutions for the vacation travel things that may be bothering us. After stepping away from the actual situation (and our conclusion that it ought to be a certain way), we can see things more objectively, giving our brain the opportunity to provide good solutions to our ponderings in their reality. After taking the time to look from this other (accurate) view, we can then decide if we still are unhappy with our money, health, business, career, or family relationships. We can then decide what it is that we actually want. When we come with a clear vision, knowing what we truly want or desire, we can dream, visualize and plan in that direction. Or, we may simply come to realize things are not as bad as we thought.
4. Exposure to new things and new ways of thinking. As we keep an open mind to how others live, play or enjoy life, we will find ourselves inspired and often thankful for what we already have. We may come to find vacation travel out that if others are living "our dream", we can figure out a way to do it as well. Author: Bobbi Jo Frazier
