The Canary Islands are always one of the most popular destinations. Tenerife is the biggest island of the Canaries. With the centre of the resort closed to traffic, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town, stopping for a refreshing drink at one of the many cafes.
The prices of the drinks at the main bars and the pool bars are a bit steep. The Shires Bar near the local supermarket and the Merry Monk Bar is very nice if you can get away from the children for the odd hour or so, they have fabulous cabaret acts on most nights.

The touts are everywhere therefore dont take a trip with any of the numerous companies who have there leaflets lying around no matter how cheap they seem unless you want to sit through there sales pitch.
A visit to Loro park and Mount Teide are a cert and on the drive back from Mount Teide head for Los Gigantestheres some lovely restaurants there.
The islands sub tropical climate, tempered by the cool Trade Winds and warm Gulf Stream has earned it the title of The Island of Eternal Spring.
